How-To Guides & Documentation

Clear, concise documentation empowers your team (developers, QA, even non-technical members) to run tests and understand testing processes independently. We create tailored 'How-To' guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes setup instructions, test execution steps, troubleshooting tips, and best practices relevant to your specific project and tools. Good documentation reduces dependency on key individuals and ensures consistency.

1. Open your web browser and go to https://dashboard.testingedge.com. Enter your employee email and password in the login fields at the center of the page, then click the blue “Sign In“ button.

2. On the dashboard homepage, locate the navigation menu on the left sidebar. Click the “Customer Orders“ option, which has a shopping cart icon next to it.

3. In the “Customer Orders“ page, find the search bar at the top right. Type the customer’s order ID (found in the refund request email) or their email address, then press Enter or click the magnifying glass icon.

4. From the search results, click the order number (a blue hyperlink) to open the order details page. Check the “Order Summary“ section on the right, which lists the purchased items, quantities, and total amount. Compare these with the refund request email to ensure they match. If available, view the screenshot attached in the email to confirm the product details.

5. On the order details page, scroll to the bottom and click the red “Initiate Refund“ button. A dropdown menu will appear; select the appropriate refund reason (e.g., “Customer Request“ or “Defective Product“).

6. In the refund form, verify the refund amount auto-filled in the “Amount“ field matches the order total. If partial, adjust manually. Click the green “Submit Refund“ button to process.

7. After submission, click the “Notify Customer“ button on the confirmation page. Select the “Refund Confirmation“ email template from the dropdown, review the pre-filled message, and click “Send“ to email the customer.
